At Ramadan Souk in Bolton, we ran a stall where you could purchase from our variety of stunning event stationery and see the quality in-person! With over 70 businesses to shop at, Ramadan Souk was a great event where you could find everything you needed for Ramadan and Eid.
As part of the event, we also raised money for Congo, Sudan and Somalia in partnership with Beesweet Giving and Al-Imdaad Foundation U.K.. Countries like Congo, Sudan and Somalia often suffer in silence. Their pain rarely makes headlines and their struggles are too often forgotten by the world. For many families, even a simple hot meal is not guaranteed it is a rare blessing. For just £2, a single hot meal can provide rice, water, dates and meat. Yet meat is a true luxury for many. Some have never seen it, never tasted it, never known the nourishment it brings. These meals were delivered during Ramadan. While our iftar tables are filled with blessings, countless parents are making dua for food for their children, families who have gone days without eating.
We raised £425 out of our £200 target for this event, thanks to the generosity and support of everyone who donated to our fundraiser.
